Lahore: Mian Maqsood Ahmad (Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab) expressed that the US demand to repeal blasphemy laws, saying that negative propaganda against this law will not be tolerated or accepted by the people of Pakistan. He said that Pakistan has come to existence in the name of Islam, and only the orders of Allah almighty and practices of Muhammad ﷺ can be put into practice in our homeland.

The US and allies destroyed the peace and harmony of the world in the name of freedom of expression. He said that the disbelievers continue to be cursing the religious sentiments of the Muslims with different kinds and acts, and we have obligation to expose all such conspiracies against Islam. He added, the secular lobbies are continuously busy in their conspiracies against Islam and Pakistan, and It is clearly demonstrated with a try to amend the clauses about the Khatam-e-Nabuwat ﷺ oath script in the election act.

The time has come that the country’s enemies, who are sitting in all the important institutions, must also exposed. Jamaat-e-Islami never allows to play with the Islamic identity of our homeland, as constitution of the country is also not let to form and law against Quran-o-Sunnah.

Our Mission

Jamaat views regarding the three terms ‘Al-Deen’, Divine Order’, and ‘Islamic Way of Life’ as synonyms.

Our mission of ‘Establishment of Deen’ does not mean establishing some part of it, rather establishing it in its entirety, in individual and collective life, and whether it pertains to prayers or fasting, haj or zakat, socio-economic or political issues of the life.

It is incumbent upon a believer to strive for establishing Islam in its entirety without discretion and division, and believer’s real objective is to attain Allah’s pleasure and success in the this world and hereafter, this cannot be realized without trying to establish Allah’s Deen in this world.
